On a side note: I just read somewhere there are seven ways to form plurals
in Welsh! These involve vowel affection (i.e. Umlaut), adding a plural
suffix, *removing* a singular suffix, or a combination of these.
So far, I only know how to mark Tech plurals with either internal umlaut
(shifting the vowel a slot to the right), used to mark "collective plurals"
or with the -(e)n suffix, used to mark "numbered plurals". Something
like -in indicates duals.
But I might take another cue from Welsh: "double plurals", where two endings
are tacked on. In Tech, that would mean both an inflectional plural and a
marked plural, or a "plural of collective", analagous to "fishes", "peoples"
or *sheeps (that is, breeds of sheep).
