Hi, everybody!

Hello!
My name's Joe, and I was a semi-regular member of the list for a few
years until last september, when schoolwork overtook me a little - given
the huge turnover this list generally sees, I think some reintroduction
might be in order.. I'm 17 years old, and live in Oxfordshire in the
UK. I was introduced to (proper) Conlanging by the Zompist website,
actually, which I ran across while looking at numbers in various
languages. I think I was 12 or 13 at the time.
I've never managed a proper long-term Conlang, really, since my
attention span has always been a little short. So I tend to hop from
Conlang project to Conlang project, as new ideas strike me, but it's
always been great fun. In the Conlang relays, you can find my earlier
work in my language 'Zitwbata', and a one-off in 'Kalon'.
The Conlang list has managed to sustain my love of languages for the
last four years or so, and in September I'll be off to SOAS in London to
study Nepali and Linguistics, with the long term goal of going into
Field Linguistics. Should be fun, and I certainly wouldn't be as well
prepared for it if it wasn't for this list. Recently I decided that I
should get back into Conlanging (because, let's face it, it's really
fun), and so I'm back, and will hopefully be here to stay.
Joe
