Definite improvements!

So, more things I would recommend:
* the monthly page doesn't seem to be sorted in any particular way (at
least by visible columns) - make the column headers into sort links
(nil -> asc -> desc -> nil), default sort by subject
* the tree view seems organized upside-down - "standard" order is
top->bottom = first->last
* make tree /list view and messages be viewable side by side with the
messages (in a frame most likely)
* allow loading of all messages at once, so there is no need to
separately load each one
^^ above two - see Google Groups' GUI for what I mean
* in addition to the show/hide all quotations link at top, make quotations:
- hidden by default (if JavaScript available)
- hide by clicking the quoted text
- unhide by clicking the quoted text
- hidden version is an excerpt (first 1-2 literal lines plus elipsis)
- highlighting as you have it now is good :-)
- maaaaybe (?) have next-logically-in-subject vs
next-chronologically-in-subject vs next-chronologically-globally
links?
* change 'reference' to 'parent' or similar - it's not an intuitive
label to me (American English)

Essentially what you're competing with for me is GMail. I have all
CONLANG automatically filed under a label, as individual emails, which
means I have GMail's full threading, prettiness, etc. However I only
have it as of a year or two ago (I forget), so you win on the archive
point. But I've been spoiled UI-wise. ;-)

Anyhow, excellent work keep it up. ;-)

Also - can you replace the official archive interface with yours, once
yours has all the same functionality (e.g. subscription / posting
support)?
