Yes. In that, I do have the freedom/contraint on the language of serpentmen
from the H.P. Lovecraft's and R. E. Howard's overlapping mythos which were
carried over as of the GURPS writeup on the mythos.

My apology. I know my first encounter with this was confusing/frustrating.
They (we?) most often use SAMPA (Speech Assessment Methods Phonetic
Alphabet) and XSAMPA (Extended Sampa) instead of IPA due to not all servers
and mail applications supporting IPA. See

NP. I'm pleased that I understand enough to ask a valid question. And I
agree, re: getting others points of view, as I know how easily I can
blindside myself.
