I'm betting you're right...but it is far, *far* easier to find tapes and
recordings of the European languages (and also the better known Asian
ones). Cornell's foreign language/self-teach book section at the Campus
Store is maybe 80% languages-spoken-in-Europe, some Asian languages,
Swahili and Indian...and not a single Amerind language. And even in the
language departments, there are a lot more people teaching things like
Sanskrit or Welsh or Turkish or Serbo-Croatian or Vietnamese...I don't
remember seeing a single Amerind language listed, though if there's only
a few I might've missed 'em. :-(
