Tell me about it! The boot disk on my New computer has got a mount-failure, and since it got no CD burner (that was going to be the investment for this year's tax refund) I got no back-up but have to take it to the disk doctor (which in itself costs SEK 600). Not only is my term paper locked and perhaps lost, but so are my stepsons' exam assignments, and there is no trying out all this new software. To make things worse I deleted perl and TeX from this Old computer upon donating it to the kids... ObConLangSoftware: does anyone know how to make a lexicon in Shoebox/Toolbox without doing any interlinears? How customizable is this perl/shoebox dictionary formatter? Can it handle your own filedcodes? Can it handle multiple dialects and a protolanguage with their respective glosses? I guess I'm also asking if it could be used for an etymological dictionary. /BP 8^) -- B.Philip Jonsson mailto:melrochX@melroch.se (delete X) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~__ A h-ammen ledin i phith! \ \ __ ____ ____ _____________ ____ __ __ __ / / \ \/___ \\__ \ /___ _____/\ \\__ \\ \ \ \\ \ / / / / / / / \ / /Melroch\ \_/ // / / // / / / / /___/ /_ / /\ \ / /Gaestan ~\_ // /__/ // /__/ / /_________//_/ \_\/ /Eowine __ / / \___/\_\\___/\_\ Gwaedhvenn Angeliniel\ \______/ /a/ /_h-adar Merthol naun ~~~~~~~~~Kuinondil~~~\________/~~\__/~~~Noolendur~~~~~~ || Lenda lenda pellalenda pellatellenda kuivie aiya! || "A coincidence, as we say in Middle-Earth" (JRR Tolkien)
