Turns out there is a free version of Shoebox 5 called "Toolbox". I'm
currently having a look at it and it seems to be a worthy succesor to
Shoebox 4. The only problem seems to be that it comes without
databasetype-files (.typ) but these can be gotten from Shoebox 4 or the
included "getting started"-package.
You can find it at <http://www.sil.org/computing/toolbox/>
t., whose conlanging has basically been on hold until the disocvery of a
working backup of a not that old version of *some* of the shoebox-
files that used to reside on the disk that died last summer and
that has not yet been sent to some disc-doctor for rescue of the tons
of other stuff there was no backup for...
Younglings, be warned by this grim tale ;)
