I've set up a relatively simple verb conjugation system in Mungay=F6d. Th=
e
verb stem itself never actually changes in various conjugations. There
will be a few irregulars that change in certain conjugations, but I
haven't made them yet.
For example:
gId - to be
aX gId - I am
wis gId - you (sg) are
piI gId, piu gId, pilu gId, pi gId - 3d person singular (4 genders:
human, animal, matter, conceptual)
vaX gId - we are
weis gId - you (pl) are
fei gId - they are (all genders)
the verb phrase comes first in the sentence (order is VSO)
then comes the subject phrase with *mandatory* article, then object
phrase or adverbial/adjectival phrase:
piu gId wis i vESt to - Your dog is there.
piu gId - it (animal) is
wis - your (singular)
i vESt - the dog
to - here
other tenses and aspects will be marked with other particles inserted
between the person marker and the verb stem
