Right, that's what I was saying. Just that if you *are* going to use
it, you might as well use it in a logical manner, which in both French
and English conventions means on the second vowel, spelling it either
English-style as Noel, or French style as Noël, but Nöel is completely
illogical, being neither an English convention, nor faithful to the
original language.
