It is a noun or a verb. Modern Mey. don't inflects verbs and nouns. It is like
English, almost everything is expreessed with pre- and postpositions. Well it's
probably because this lang changes very fast and tries to express things in
simple short one or two-syllabe words. Some animals can't remember to very long
words so they tend to produce lost sounds and messy phones. But at least it's
easy to learn.
'ga' is "wisdom" or "to be wise". (equal to LW ugash /ugAS/) the final š was
originally the part of the root form (Archaic Mey. UGAS) but later because of
analogy they thought it is an ending so they created the root form ga (initial
u had disappeared).

It comes from Archaic Meyadhew mau (which is also LW word for 'cat' with no
change except that in some LW dialects the au cluster became a diphtong).
The change process was probably sg like this:
mau > maw > mwa > mwe
