Oh, well... I don't make a secret of it, and incidentally I mention it to a
friend or so, but usually I receive zero reaction. The conversation about the
topic just stops after mentioning it and never reaches a point on which I have
to explain why I do it. Not that I care... It's just me own personal thingy,
and I don't look for any understanding among the people that surround me.
Perhaps with the exception of my girl friend, who might sometimes wonder why I
spend so much time in my working room.
But if I were asked, my explanation would probably be: I have a creative mind,
and if I am really interested in something, it's not enough for me to just
consume it, I feel the need to recreate something existing or to create
something new. Same thing as with music.
A less flattering but nevertheless true answer would be, that it's just a
leftover from my childhood, when I liked to reinvent not only languages, but
also maps, history, and people.
