I assure you, no pun intended.  Despite being a lapsed Christian, I still
love the language of the KJV and the old Book of Common Prayer-- 3 years, at
an impressionable age, of Chapel every day and twice on Sundays.

And although the piece was written some time before I'd conceived the Kash,
in the back of my mind now was, how possibly to translate/adapt it into Kash
without our Terran religious baggage.  While they acknowledge a Force or
Mind that created the Universe and all things in it, they would consider it
unlikely that that Creator would be concerned with such things as endowing a
planet with specific food items.

And my thanks to Steg for his Hebrew translation.  Very nice. Judging from
his speed, it must not have been all that difficult.  Not surprising, given
that it drew on the KJV English of the Hebrew Psalms, albeit with one or two
twists.
