constructed sign language

I just had an idea about making a consructed sign language. My idea
is that you could use one hand to make nouns, verbs, etc. The other hand
would be used to indicate tense, mood, maybe even a sort of sign tone. I was
just wondering if any of you have ever done anything like this.
