I think the more common system in use is X-SAMPA (which is more extensive than regular SAMPA, and does all of IPA). http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/sampa/ipasam-x.pdf The common X-SAMPA in use here has some modifications (like /&/ for /{/, and /'/ for /"/) but these occasionally receive frowning on. *Muke!
