Re: An alphabet of faces?!

All this talk of facial scripts has inspired me to create a somewhat
similar script for English. It's not exactly featural, but different
parts of the face (and sometimes arms or legs) represent different
parts of the syllable. Hair represents the vowel, eyes and nose
represent initial consonants, and ears and mouth (and sometimes arms or
legs) represent syllable-final consonants. The figures are nearly
stick figures, and when a word has more than two syllables, the the
arms of the characters for the two syllables run together - as if
they're holding hands.
