Sounds pretty accurate (according to my mildly synaesthetic point of view ;)))) ). In French the verb is "se dandiner", which may have an onomatopoeic origin... Well, checked on the Online Hachette Encyclopedia, "se dandiner" comes from Old French "dandin": bell. Obviously from the movement of the bell. "Dandin" itself could be onomatopoeic though :)) .

See, the Dutch people are in advance with everything! What the English had to express with an abbreviation the Dutch already had, identical, but as a word! :)))

And then another week to get back to speaking, reading and writing normally :))) . Maggel can be a traumatising experience you know :))) .
