Well, almost: Western Palatinian usually (I don't know whether it's universal) uses the 2pl form for 3pl, too. Or baybe the rule is simply that 3sg has no ablaut, but however, it comes out as 'er fallt'/'ihr fallt'. Now, when people with this dialect speak High German, it is not uncommon to overgeneralise and use 'er fällt'/'ihr fällt' (from 'fallen'). I've seen it an university flyers around here. **Henrik
