A quick look tells me that we could easily
replace "American" by "First Worlder" for many
items.

I mean, indoor plumbing and theism are _not_
peculiar to the USA!

Mind you, it's not a bad seive. Having answered
so many "nos" or "what the hell are they talking
abouts", I'm left even more sure that the USA as
a unit has no overriding culture. Or that, if
there is one, I ain't really a party to it.
