Re: Quarterly Contest! Writing in Two Dimensional Space

(Annoying, ain't it? I hope they fix it before it goes out of beta. A simple
fix would be to allow the user a mapping: if it comes from <address>, make
my reply-to address <address>.)
Go right ahead and cross-post it. By no means should it be limited to just
CONLANGers. The more participants and/or judges the better.
Since some of the neographers may already have implementations of such
ideas, what does everyone think about submitting pre-existing systems? I
wouldn't want to rule out a system that's been around for awhile, but is it
fair to the folks who only have a month or two to devise one? My gut
reaction is to allow it, though. The fewer restrictions on submissions the
better, I figure. I'll take into account while judging that a brand-new
system may not be as complete as one that's been in the works for a long
time, and not penalize the new ones for a lack of depth, scope, or details.
Should anyone wish to set up a separate little site or something, so that
non CONLANG folks can more easily participate, you may be in on the judging
if you so wish.
Oh, and should non-me judges be allowed to make submissions themselves?
(Provided, of course, that they can't spend a vote on them?)
