I'd like to second that. Seven weeks ain't long. I have no doubt I could
bash out a 2d written system that maps to a natlang or an artlang
'pseudo-natlang' within that time. But apart from the novelty & maybe
aesthetics, I don't really see the point. It seems to me that if one is
going to develop a _fully_ 2d system, there might as well be some real
point to doing so, i.e. it is achieving something that could not be done
in the linear writing systems currently used.

Yes - it would give me extra time, if I could get my head around it - and
then there's the darn briefscript project, which I dearly want to get
finished - it's holding up any proper commitment to anything more
interesting.
But even if I do not manage to get to grips with the 2d comp, it would Sai
a chance - and I would be very interested to see Sai's scheme.
