Precisely. It seems perhaps English really does need a
punctuation mark for subtlety.
Of course, emphatically marking something as subtle
would be ironic, so you would you then in fact need
two marks?

The way you phrase your sentence makes it sound as if
I, unlike the trolls, am known for my quick wit and
philosophical depth! Probably best not to look that
