Difficult but not impossible, it just involves more transitional movement of
the back of the tongue...[ixa] or [ixO] are easy, [ixi] almost impossible to
do smoothly. Maybe compromize? Both _X_ and _i_ could be pulled toward the
center, resulting in a uvular/velar [x] plus "barred i".....? (For some
reason, I like "barred i" in languages :) Roger
