Tilde does not work that well for Boreanesian. I need to be able to use two diacritics on the same vowel. Having only superscripts makes some vowels look cluttered -- I have always had the same sentiments about Vietnamese romanization. One superscript and one subscript is a lot more neat compared to two superscipts over the same vowel. My models here are the transcription schemes of many Amerindian languages, although I'm not sure if any of them can be regarded as major languages. Perhaps Navaho. -kristian- 8)
