Well, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the standard
romanized form of Taiwanese uses a superscript n.  The Bible and song book
used in the Presbyterian churches are in the romanized script.  They are
practically the only people literate in Taiwanese.  Otherwise it's a
step-child to written Mandarin with a very few non-standard characters that
are somewhat known and oodles of Taiwanese words that can't be represented
in hanzi.  It's romanize or write in Mandarin for the most part.  Though you
will occasionally see a word thrown in in a poorly aproximate bepemefe
version.
