This looks a lot like Exian "compression" or "condensation"! My versions would have: machina > *maichna /maçn@/ (ç = c cedilla, "ich-Laut") femina > *feimna /fEm'n@/ (m' = palatized m) granula > *graunla /krAnwL@/ (A should be an inverted script a) pegasus > *peags /pjæxs/ (æ = ash) orion > *oire /orjI/ fibula > *fiubla /fjuvwl@/ That is, if those Latin loans happen to appear in the language. More likely Greek words will be found in the area of Indo-European borrowings. The reasons for the apostrophes, by the way, is because the words are not written any difference; they would reflect how the word would register in the mind of the speaker using "invisible metathesis". ~Danny~
