Very close, you left out "epiglottal" which is between pharyngeal and
glottal. All the POA's that I know of:
Bilabial
Linguolabial (sp?)
Labiodental
Interdental
Dental
Alveolar
Alveopalatal/Post-alveolar (these are the same, right?)
Palatal
Retroflex - technically, this should probably be "sublamino-palatal",
made with the bottom of the tongue at the palatal region
Velar
Uvular
Pharyngeal - made by the very back of the tongue and the upper throat
Epiglottal - made by constricting the upper part of the throat
Glottal
I recently discovered that I can make a "subglottal" sound, by
constricting something which is BELOW the glottis. Has anyone else
found that?
Am I right? And can someone give me a complete list of the
