I don't know whether my Kash/Gwr/Lañ-lañ people would be considered humanoid
or not; they have evolved from "Great Cat"-type species (Kash and L-L) and
"Simian" sp. They're all furry, but bipedal, bilaterally symmetrical and
relatively "human" in terms of brain organization AFAICT (and vocal
tract!)-- since they were created a couple million years ago by genetic
tinkering by the space-faring Hainish (or perhaps renegade "mad scientists")
(compliments of U. Le Guin)-- who tinkered around all over the galaxy,
including with a simian sp. here on Earth....
