Hm? That's certainly not notated in the orthography; that reads e.g. aruite and oyoide, not aruiite or oyoiide for the verbs "aruku" and "oyogu".

*nods* that was indeed missing. ("suru" also goes to shite/shita, and "kuru" to kite/kita - and "iku" is irregular in this form, taking itte rather than *iite. Not sure about "yuku". Oh, and "iu" sometimes takes "yutte" rather than "itte", probably due to the pronunciation of "iu" as "yuu".) Cheers, -- Philip Newton <philip.newton@...>
