Nuh-uh. It's a song by the industrial group Einstürzende Neubauten; the lyrics may be found at http://hem.passagen.se/maol1616/seele.html. There's also a link to the translation, in consideration of the German-impaired. Anyways, it's a very sad, very disturbing song and the tone of it is just _unearthly_. The 'all idols must die' line struck a deep chord in me when I first heard it; Einstürzende Neubauten is perhaps my favorite band, because they seem to have a way of toying with my heart-strings. ===== "Alle Idole müssen sterben." "All idols must die." --Einstürzende Neubauten, "Seele Brennt" (Soul is on Fire) "Where am I? What is this thing called 'the world'? Who is it who has lured me into the thing, and now leaves me here? How did I come into the world? Why was I not consulted?" --Søren Kierkegaard "You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." --Franz Kafka, Journals ___________________________________________________________ Gesendet von Yahoo!
