Trebor: You began your e-mail message with the word "merhaba!" which is
the Arabic word for "hello" (at least in the Hijazi dialect I studied in
college). The standard reply is "merhabteen" literally "two hellos"
translatable as "hello back!" "Keef halak?" is Hijazi Arabic for "how are
you?" (for masculine addressee).
And no, I didn't take negatively in any way your comments about the
learnability of Ithkuil. In fact, read the 2nd-to-last paragraph of the
Introduction portion on the Ithkuil website as for my own thoughts on its
