I live in New York, and i say /sVmpIn/ and /nVfIn/ almost all the time...except
when i'm at college that is.
I suppose /sVmpIn/ comes from /sVmTIN/ via /sUmpfIn/ and /nUfIn/ from /nVTIN/ is
pretty straight forward.
