One or more of those are official languages of certain states, but
the United States as a whole has no official language. As far as I can
make out, the U.K. has much the same story: in Wales, Welsh and English
are both official, but England, Scotland, N.I., and the U.K. as a whole
have no official languages.
De facto, of course, English is used by officialdom in all these places.
