From my oldest lang to my newest one:
Olaetian uses "ilnye" as a preposition meaning "before" or an adverb
meaning "ago". The adverb "before" is translated "selán ilnye" (where
"selán" means "at that time"). As in English, the time precedes the
adverb: "nir ásimen ilnye" (three years ago).
Minza uses the preposition "vyö" (which directly follows the main verb)
followed by the time in the locative case: "vyö miče bynu" (literally
"before three year").
