I've suggested before, and hereby do so again, that Albany might be a good
place for some kind of gathering. It's within a few hours' travel time (by
car, train or bus) of places as far west as Rochester, as far east as
Boston, and as far south as the New York metro area.
If only a few people were involved, my wife and I could probably host
something at our house. If it turned into something larger, we could make
hotel arrangements. Maybe sometime in late winter or early spring, after
the holiday season but before we get too involved in working on the next
Albacon.
