I would rather think the contrary, especially when looking specifically for it on the web and discovering that the University of Lyon teaches definitely LSF, not a specific Lyon sign language. And all the links I've looked in French about Sign language emphasize the fact that though the LSF is not completely unitary (one was talking about the different manners to sign "family" in Paris or Bordeaux or other places in France), the differences are comparable to differences of dialect in the same country: a funny "accent", but nothing to prevent intelligibility. In short, French deaf people themselves say that there is only one French sign language, with some dialectical variation across the country. Maybe we could trust them in that.
