Gevey seems to do its own thing:
Agent phrase Verb copula Modifier
----------------------------------- ------------ ----------------
object coordinating standard primitive, equalitive or
being conjunction object contemporary comparative form
compared (noest, tet) or adaptive
(where the Agent/verb/modifier can vary, most commonly being AMV or AVM)
Thus:
pethuu noest brishnuu skugañuu bekatuu
rain conj wind cold-er remained
the rain was colder than the wind
rapte noest bizhve ken pehmoude sekate
boy conj father his as-tall became
the boy has grown as tall as his father
cegmuu tet ëzekuu ten kreetoiluu bekatuu
shoe conj foot my too-small remained
the shoe was too small for my foot
