Salnien gyrn rozean so ti nadaynat, ei? In summer the sun dries up
the river and you, eh?

I don't know whether any of these are especially weird :-)
Let's start with something to cool you down:
rhis - cold
crys - snow (on the ground or in the air)
crysa - to snow
lea crysat - it's snowing
crysen - snowflake
crysin - falling snow, a shower of snow
Most of Valdyas has a very mild climate, and most of what I've seen
was in the middle and south - in Ryshas there's a bit of snow on two
or three days at most in a cold winter, and in Essle it hardly ever
snows at all - snow is something to remember.
Now against the _nadayen_ "drought":
daysen - raindrop (drop of water)
daysena - to rain
lea daysenat - it's raining
daysin - rain
And where that comes from:
sud - cloud
sudi - clouds, cloud cover, cloudy sky
When it's raining, it's likely that you also get:
rach - wind
racha - to blow (wind), to be windy
lea rachat - it's windy, there's a wind
rachyn - gust of wind
rashen - windy spell
tarach - gentle wind, breeze
tarashen - a breeze
doracha - to storm
dorashen - storm
And this as well:
turn - thunder
turna - to thunder (also: to rumble, to growl)
lea turnat - it's thundering
tursen - thunderstorm
istyn - lightning, bolt of lightning
istyna - to flash (like lightning)
lea istynat - there's a flash of lightning
One that doesn't seem to fit anywhere:
fost - fog (also "smoke", "steam")
And the seasons:
farinas - spring (lea farinat - spring is beginning)
salnen - summer
pul - harvest, autumn
ferhin - winter
