Philip Mann is a NZ writer. His books are well written and involve
contact between humans and aliens who are more than just humans with a
zipper up the back. It's been about ten years since I read Eye of the
Queen and I don't think it had much about language in it. Despite that
it's a thoughtful and maybe a disturbing read. I await with interest to
hear Lars' opinion on it.
Other titles include:
The Master of Paxwax; and The Fall of the Families.
Pioneers.
Wulfsyan.
Into the Wild Wood (and sequels, which I did not like).
