If one carefully reads either the Grammar of Limbu or the Grammaticale Verkenning van het Bumthang (esp. the lexicons!), it becomes clear that this description ('life, sex or death') is indeed an accurate description of the life of at least one field linguist ;-). I seldom blush, but I did when I translated the single untranslated text in the G.o.L... Perhaps it would be an interesting translation exercise for the more ambitious list members, too!
