I just put up there a PDF chart of Hebrew script style, made out of a
few handwriting-looking fonts i have.
Some things to notice:
ALEF: variable hight of the straight element
BET: two styles, one with an upwards lower spike, one with a leftwards
one.
GIMEL: sometimes extends below the baseline
DALED: sometimes, the end curves forwards so much it looks like a
miniature tzadi
ZAYIN: sometimes extends below the baseline
HHET: looks like Latin |n|
TET: should not look like hhet, usually left end is tall
NUN: sometimes non-final nun extends below the baseline
PEI: notice the two main styles of final pei
TZADI: usually tall
QUF: can sometimes look exactly like final kaf

limits. Perfect speed, my son, is being there."
