Re: Conlang song in Swedish Eurovision Song Contest trials

Thank you, Mike! I found this, with lyrics to "Sanomi":
http://www.doteurovision.com/2003/songs/belgium.htm
But I seem to recall a page that actually talked about their song and its
composition as an "invented language." There's this in French, which
remarks that it is a langue imaginaire:
http://www.urbantrad.com/html/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=14
I wish I could hear it. Is it on a CD?
BTW, I hate those sites which keep refreshing themselves when you try to go
back to a previous page; and when you hit the "x" they knock you out of
Internet Explorer altogether. This is especially noisome when the site has
a loud soundbyte.
My favorite lyricist in an imaginary language remains Dierdre Dubois of
Ekova. Her melodies, as well as her language, are decidedly NOT of the sad
Celtic Twilight (sometimes anything in a "minor key" is identified as
"Celtic"), but rather Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, exuberant, fiery,
triumphant. With the exception of Helas and Reason, which I adore, too.
Which is why I'd like to hear more about "Roma." So this is not for the
Eurovision contest, but rather for a Swedish Melodyfest?
Sally
