It's OK to use a language that isn't your own, I think (Lojban has
been in a previous relay or two), but say that you do a relay and
your translation differs from what the creator would have done, you
must consider that even with natlangs, not every speaker would
translate everything the same way, and if your translation differed
semantically, syntactically, stylistically etc. it would still be
written that language, except rendered by a different person.
Still, I'm sure someone with more experience in starting up relays
and writing the rules could elaborate...
