I profoundly disagree. Unity is important to me, and that means that all conlangs
(I use the term in the broadest sense) should be represented here. The AUXLANG
mailing list is specifically for auxlang *advocacy*; its existence does not mean
that auxlangs cannot be discussed and developed here.
In particular, what is Lojban? Its engineer (he disclaims "creator"), Bob LeChevalier,
has said that he can't comprehend "languages-as-art", and it has been used as an IAL
(in the sense that people who speak different native languages have used it for
communication). Should it be banned from an artlang list? Historically, this list
was created as an anti-Lojban list of sorts, but Lojban has been mentioned here
frequently and with approval.
