How does Gladilatian have no verbs?

I tried to do this some time ago in Tomoulini Ganmaa, an humanoid alien
language. It worked, to a certain extent. In TG, words are usually
marked with suffixes indicating their function in the statement. The
suffixes could be thought of as a large system of case inflections, but
they cover a larger field than that (I've created sixty of them, and
they don't form a closed class). For example,

  tomoulin-i gan-maa

uses -i to mark an owner or master, and -maa to mark a possession or
subordinate element. "Tomoulini Ganmaa" can thus mean "the language of
the Tomoulin" but also "the Tomoulini have a language". Another
relationships can be expressed by suffixes without need for verbs.

Is this how Gladilatian works?

(TG does have "verbs", tho. The roots are all nominal, but a suffix
can add the meaning of "performing an action" to a root, if necessary.)
