I would say that rather language is an instrument capable of explaining
both real and very unreal situations, and it is only natural for it to strive
to be able to communicate *both* possibilities.
P.S.: I don't want to sound carping, but I've noticed that you tend not
to return to the beginning of the line after every so many characters. If
you would please make a return, that would make reading the text of your
letters far more easy, at least for me. Thanks :)
