Eeeenteresting... I have vague ideas about working up an "anti-Gypsy"
language myself, with descendants of Late Egyptian-speakers living in
China, mistaken for Indians. But I haven't got much solid done on it --
got bogged down in grammar. I didn't want to extrapolate from Coptic, but
from a slightly earlier stage of the language. Hence the headache.
Besides, I'm supposed to be doing _real_ academic work... bah!
Anyway, please keep us updated, as you can, on how this develops -- I, at
least, am very interested in hearing more. It would be fun to have a
"cousin" conlang someday!
