Someday they will be!  As for understanding the rules, they're simple.
Just look at the explanation on my page.  It's like Conlang "Telephone."
Remember telephone?  You'd all sit in a circle and someone would whisper
a sentence to the person on the left, and that person would whisper
it to the next person, all the way around, till it came back to the
originator.  Then everyone would laugh to see what it turned into.
The rules of the game are that you are not to send a "smooth"
translation
into English.  You send your text in your language with grammatical
instruction only.  That can take the form of a linear analysis and a
glossary.  You explain quirks and idioms.  But no polished translations
into English.  That person has two days to produce a version in his/her
own language and send that, with only grammatical instruction, to the
next.  Look at the beginning and ending poems in the Bast Relay and see
how different they are.  Look at Nicole's page, at the beginning and
ending poems, and see how a charming address about a fairy lamenting
her weary life (which is still better than a mortal's) into a paean to
the Goddess Asta of the stars.

I like this one very much, and would like to do a translation, but I
fear that Nicole has left us and conlanging behind.  I hope that's not
true.

BTW, the same invitation holds for the Bast Relay that Nicole extended:
if anyone wants to do a translation of the first poem, I'll be happy
to put it up.  I'll use <pre> this time!!!  Look how quickly Nicole
got her page up.
