SK/SC and like

I thought many of the SK forms were Nordic.

The difference between Skip and Ship, was one was Nordic and the other
AS.. Skip the root for Skipper, namely one who controls a Skip/Skiff.
Another form if I remember?

So Ship, Skiff are related.. Same as Shipper and Skipper..
