As a Canadian, I must correct this. The flag on the old $2 is
the Canadian Red Ensign which flew over the Parliament Buildings
until 1965. The $2 is no longer in circulation, having been
replaced by a coin (the 'twoonie').
In a vaguely related vein, today is the 100th birthday of the
Queen Mother, long may she live, and long may her daughter reign.
