"Qing1" does get a lot of work in poetry: as in "qing1shan1", "blue-green mountain", and "qing1tian1", "blue sky". And let us not forget "Qing1dao3", "blue-green island", whence Tsingtao Beer comes or "Qing1hai3", "blue-green sea", a province. *And* fancy you should mention Li Bai, 'cause another name for Li Bai is "Qing1 Lian2 Ju1 Shi4", "The Blue Lotus Scholar".
